My Story

I Came From Nothing and Built Everything

I grew up with very little. Problems were not optional — they were daily life. What that background gave me, before any boardroom ever could, is the unshakeable belief that there is always a way through. You just have to care enough to find it.

Over 25 years I have worked alongside people in some of the most high-pressure environments imaginable. From senior command at Wembley Stadium and the 2012 London Olympics — where I liaised directly with the British Army, Navy and RAF — to governmental disaster recovery, C-suite consulting in Morocco, and keynote stages in Tanzania and Iraq.

But the work I am most proud of is quieter than any of that. It is the business owner who called me at 11pm not knowing what to do next. The leader who finally said out loud the thing they had been carrying alone for years. The person who walked away from our sessions believing in themselves for the first time in a long time. That is why I do this.

In August I had the opportunity to lead a five day workshop programme in the UK for a business start-up course — working with both adults and teenagers aged 16 to 18. Over six days I delivered a series of sessions designed to give attendees practical tools they could use immediately.
